Getting around Okeechobee lakes area

Jupiter is just north of Palm Beach, and a short left turn to one of the State's greatest attractions, the Okeechobee swamp, forest and lakes. The great joke about visitng Okeechobee County is the signs saying "Please don't feed the Alligators!" There's rather a lot of 'em, and lots of other interesting wildlife besides.

Speckled perch are the great fish of the vast Okeechobee lake, and round the snags and flats there's a lot of big mouth bass to be caught.
